The RED KOMODO-X 6K is a next-generation compact cinema camera that builds upon the success of the original KOMODO platform, delivering improved performance, higher frame rates, enhanced connectivity, and advanced workflow capabilities. Featuring RED’s global shutter technology and a compact cube-style design, the KOMODO-X is an ideal choice for commercials, narrative productions, action sequences, gimbal work, drones, and virtual production environments.

At its core is a 6K Super 35 Global Shutter CMOS sensor, capable of capturing highly detailed images without rolling shutter artifacts. The camera combines RED’s renowned image quality with a lightweight body, making it particularly well-suited for fast-moving productions and demanding camera movement.

The KOMODO-X records REDCODE RAW (R3D) internally while also supporting Apple ProRes recording, providing flexible workflows for productions ranging from independent projects to large-scale feature films.
