The RED V-RAPTOR 8K VV is RED’s flagship large-format cinema camera, combining an 8K Vista Vision sensor, high frame rates, exceptional dynamic range, and the latest generation of RED image processing in a compact and lightweight body. Designed for feature films, commercials, music videos, virtual production, and high-end content creation, the V-RAPTOR delivers uncompromising image quality while maintaining remarkable versatility on set.

At the heart of the camera is a 35.4 MP 8K Vista Vision CMOS sensor, capable of capturing 8192 × 4320 resolution with over 17 stops of dynamic range. The large-format sensor provides a cinematic field of view, beautiful depth rendition, and extensive flexibility for reframing, VFX, and high-resolution finishing workflows.

The V-RAPTOR records REDCODE RAW (R3D) internally, allowing filmmakers to balance image quality, workflow efficiency, and storage requirements. With frame rates reaching up to 120 fps in 8K, the camera is equally suited for high-resolution acquisition and high-speed cinematography.
