The Sony VENICE is a full-frame digital cinema camera designed to meet the demands of high-end feature films, television drama, commercials, and streaming productions. Combining Sony’s renowned color science with a large-format sensor and advanced recording capabilities, the VENICE delivers cinematic images with exceptional dynamic range, natural skin tones, and outstanding low-light performance.

At the heart of the camera is a 36 × 24 mm Full-Frame CMOS sensor capable of capturing 6K resolution with up to 15+ stops of dynamic range. The VENICE supports full-frame spherical, Super 35, and anamorphic formats, allowing cinematographers to take full advantage of modern large-format and vintage cinema lenses alike.

One of the camera’s defining features is its Dual Base ISO 500 and 2500, enabling clean images across a wide range of lighting conditions while preserving highlight and shadow detail. Its modular design and robust build make it equally suited for studio, handheld, Steadicam, gimbal, and virtual production workflows.
